Italy Trip for Logistics 50th Anniversary
If you like travel and history… especially military history, we have an excellent opportunity for you, and it has a perfect tie-in to our Branch 50th Anniversary. David Patterson and Steve Gregory have teamed up and put together a battlefield tour of the Italian Campaign, with an emphasis on the Combat Service Support/Logistics and RCEME challenges to tie-in with the 50th Anniversary of the Logistics Service and in anticipation of the 75th Anniversary of RCEME. John Conrad, a retired Logistics Officer and published author/historian will be accompanying the trip to Italy to add a CSS perspective to the tour.
It is a great opportunity and a reasonable price. Details are included in the attached poster (It is only available in English at the moment but is being translated and the French version will be posted as soon as we get it back from the translator) If you happen to be in a leadership role, it may be worth expending some sponsorship capital on sending deserving logisticians on this trip (Professional Development/Unit Recognition). Regardless, if you are a serving member, reserve/militia, or retired, this opportunity is open to you.
