WO Jenny Beck
On 26 February, WO Jenny Beck will retire after 20 years of dedicated service to the Canadian Armed Forces and the Logistics Branch.
WO Beck joined the CAF on 27 February 2002 and headed off to Esquimalt BC to complete basic training. After a few months of OJT at Base Supply Gagetown off she went to Borden ON to complete her Supply QL3 followed by a posting back to Base Supply Gagetown. In Gagetown she began her career, found her husband, MWO Jamie Beck and created 2 little honorary bin rats (Thomas, now 16 and Abigail, now 15)
Many adventures ensued as they took postings to Cold Lake AB, Trenton ON, Petawawa ON, Yellowknife NT, and finally back home to CFB Gagetown where it all began. Along the way WO Beck served as a flight attendant at 437 Sqn and had the opportunity to serve with CANSOFCOM at 427 SOAS. She enjoyed many travels around the world and met so many wonderful people. Mentors, treasured friends and some who have become like family.
WO Beck and family are building their forever home in Rusagonis and planning to start a small homesteading business and embark on a whole new kind of adventure.

Le 26 février, l’Adj Jenny Beck prendra sa retraite après 20 ans de service dévoué aux Forces armées canadiennes et à la Branche de la logistique.
L’Adj Beck s’est enrôlé dans les FAC le 27 février 2002 et s’est rendu à Esquimalt, en Colombie-Britannique, pour terminer l’instruction de base. Après quelques mois de FCE à la base d’approvisionnement gagetown au large, elle s’est rendue à Borden ON pour terminer son QL3 d’approvisionnement, suivie d’une affectation à la base d’approvisionnement Gagetown. À Gagetown, elle a commencé sa carrière, a trouvé son mari, l’adjum Jamie Beck et a créé 2 petits rats de poubelle honoraires (Thomas, maintenant 16 et Abigail, maintenant 15)
De nombreuses aventures s’ensuivent alors qu’ils ont été affectés à Cold Lake(A.), Trenton (Ontario), Petawawa (Ontario), Yellowknife (T.N.-O.), et enfin de retour à la BFC Gagetown, où tout a commencé. En cours de route, l’Adj Beck a été agent de bord au 437e Escadron et a eu l’occasion de servir avec le COMFOSCAN au 427 SOAS. Elle a apprécié de nombreux voyages à travers le monde et a rencontré tant de gens merveilleux. Des mentors, des amis précieux et certains qui sont devenus comme une famille.
L’Adj Beck et sa famille construisent leur maison éternelle à Rusagonis et prévoient de démarrer une petite entreprise de homesteading et de se lancer dans un tout nouveau type d’aventure.
Il n’y aura pas de DWD officiel, mais elle aimerait avoir des nouvelles de vous / tous et vous serez toujours les bienvenus pour visiter la ferme.
