Warrant Officer Mike Noble
WO Mike Noble will be retiring on 25 February after 28 years of loyal and dedicated services to the Canadian Armed Forces. Native of Toronto Ontario, He joined the CAF Reserve as a Mobile Support Equipment Operator in February 1990. He spent his first 6 years with 25 Service Battalion before joining the Regular Force as an MSE-OP in Feb 1997.
In February 1997 he was posted to 2 Svc Bn, Petawawa where he was deployed to the floods in Winnipeg, The Ice Storm in Ottawa, Bosnia, and the G8 Summit in Alberta. In 2002 he was then posted to 1 Canadian Field Hospital. In 2004 he was posted to the Language school in Petawawa to complete second language training until the summer of 2005. After completing his language training, WO Noble was posted to USS St-Jean where he worked in all Transportation functions at Base Transport.
In June of 2008 WO Noble was posted to 5 Svc Bn in CFB Valcartier and subsequently deployed to Afghanistan in 2009 and 2012-13 as well as Haiti in 2010. In 2013 he was then posted to 2 Cdn Div TC as Standards WO for all CSS courses.
In July 2016 WO Noble was posted to CFB Bagotville at 2 Air Expeditionary Training Squadron (2 AETS). He was also deployed to the G7 summit 2018 in St-Irénée, Qc.
An informal luncheon for WO Noble will be held on Friday, 8th of February 2019, 11:00 hrs at the La Voix Malté Factory (Usine de Production) 224 rue des Laurentides, Chicoutimi. L’Adj Mike Noble prendra sa retraite le 25 février 2019 après 28 ans de services loyaux et dévoués aux forces armées canadiennes (FAC). Natif de Toronto Ontario, il s’est joint à la réserve des FAC en tant qu’opérateur d’équipement mobile de soutien en février 1990. Il a passé ses 6 premières années avec les 25e Bataillon de service avant de rejoindre la force régulière en tant que Conducteur MMS en février 1997.
En février 1997, il a été muté au 2e Bn Svc, à Petawawa, où il a été affecté aux inondations à Winnipeg, à la tempête de verglas à Ottawa, en Bosnie, et au sommet du G8 en Alberta. En 2002, il a été muté au 1er hôpital de campagne canadien. En 2004, il a été affecté à l’école de langues de Petawawa pour terminer sa formation en langue seconde jusqu’à l’été 2005. Après avoir terminé sa formation linguistique, l’adj Noble a été affecté à l’USS St-Jean où il a travaillé dans toutes les fonctions de transport au niveau de la base.
En juin 2008, l’adj Noble a été muté au 5 Bn Svc à la BFC Valcartier et a ensuite été déployé en Afghanistan en 2009 et 2012-13 ainsi qu’en Haïti en 2010. En 2013, il a été affecté à la 2 DAC div comme adj des normes pour tous les cours CSS.
En juillet 2016, l’adjudant Noble a été muté à la BFC Bagotville au 2e Escadron d’entraînement expéditionnaire aérien (2 EEEA). Il a également été déployé au sommet du G7 2018 à St-Irénée, QC.
Un dîner informel pour l’adj Noble aura lieu le vendredi 8 février 2019, 11:30 h à la Voie Maltée Usine de Production, 224 rue des Laurentides à Chicoutimi.
