Mr. Rick Anthony, Supply Officer CFS St. John’s
After nearly 36 years of loyal and dedicated service to DND and the CAF, Rick Anthony will retire on the 18th of March 2019.
He has worked at CFS St. John’s his entire career; started in April 1983 on a 3 month temporary contract working in the warehouse. Then in August of 1983 moved to the Customer Service section in Supply. Since then he has held positions such as Customer Services Officer and then as the Procurement Manager for the Station. In February 2006, he became the Supply Officer for CFS St John’s and for the last three years has managed the Maintenance and Transport sections in addition to the Supply Department.
Rick is retiring in the Mount Pearl area with his spouse Sandy. He plans on spending more time with his family as well as on his motorcycle.
A gathering to recognize his retirement will be held on 15 March 19 in the All ranks Mess at CFS St. John’s, all are welcome and anyone wishing to attend can give their name to Ms. Denise Koster DENISE.KOSTER@forces.gc.ca, who will also accept any messages you may wish to pass along.
Après près de 36 ans de bons et loyaux services envers le MDN et les FAC, Rick Anthony prendra sa retraite le 18 mars 2019.
Il a travaillé toute sa carrière à la SFC St. John’s, qui a commencé en avril 1983 sur un contrat temporaire de 3 mois, travaillant dans l’entrepôt. Puis en août 1983, il passe à la section du service à la clientèle à l’approvisionnement. Depuis, il occupe des postes comme officier des services à la clientèle de l’approvisionnement puis comme gestionnaire de l’approvisionnement pour la station. En février 2006, il devient l’officier d’approvisionnement de la SFC St John’s et depuis trois ans, il gère les sections de la maintenance et du transport en plus de l’approvisionnement.
Rick prend sa retraite dans la région de Mount Pearl avec sa femme Sandy. Il prévoit passer plus de temps avec sa famille et sur sa motocyclette.
Une réception aura lieu pour souligner sa retraite, le 15 mars 19 au mess intégré de la SFC St. John’s.
