MASTER WARRANT OFFICER CHARLES (CHUCK) TURCOTTE, CD, HRA 00375-01
After completing more than 33 years of service. MWO Turcotte (Chuck) will retire from the Canadian Armed Forces on 2 Jul 19.
MWO Turcotte enrolled in the Canadian Armed Forces on 23 Apr 86 as Administrative Clerk, at CFRC North Bay ON. After completing recruit training at Canadian Forces Recruit School Cornwallis NS and his trades training at CFSAL Borden, he was posted to 1st Canadian Signal Regiment in Kingston. During his time in Kingston, he completed a tour in the Golan Heights from Jun to Dec 89. After a busy time in Kingston, he was off to Goose Bay. He has completed the following posting, Halifax, Gagetown, Borden (2), Petawawa and finally Ottawa. It was during his first posting to Borden that he was given the opportunity to deploy again with TF 3-06 1 RCR Battle Group to Afghanistan. He also had the opportunity to participate in the first Exercise Tropical Hammer in Jamaica from Mar to Apr 08.
He would like to thank his spouse Bride and his children Jonathan, Tiffany and Lisa-Marie and their family for their support during his career. However, it is time for the next adventure that life has to offer.
Upon retirement, Chuck and Bride along with their dog Toby will move to Dunville, NL and a list of chores awaits. He is looking forward to some well-earned quality time with Bride. Their plans includes trips and spoiling the grandchildren.

Après plus de 33 années de service. L’Adjum Turcotte (Chuck) prendra sa retraite des Forces armées canadiennes le 2 juillet 19.
L’Adjum Turcotte enrôlés dans les Forces armées canadiennes le 23 avril 86 comme commis administratif, au CRFC North Bay. Après avoir terminé, la formation des recrues à l’école des recrues des Forces canadiennes de Cornwallis (N.-É.) et sa formation dans les métiers à l’EALFC Borden. Il a été affecté au 1er Régiment de transmissions du Canada à Kingston. Pendant son séjour à Kingston, il a effectué une visite dans le plateau du Golan de juin à décembre 89. Après une période très occupée à Kingston, il était en congé à Goose Bay. A compléter ce qui suit l’affichage, Halifax, Gagetown, Borden (2), Petawawa et enfin à Ottawa. C’est lors de sa première affectation à Borden qu’on lui a donné la possibilité de déployer encore une fois avec la Force opérationnelle 3-06 1 RCR groupement tactique en Afghanistan. Il a également eu l’occasion de participer au premier exercice tropical Hammer en Jamaïque de mars à avril 2008.
Il tient à remercier sa conjointe mariée et ses enfants, Jonathan, Tiffany et Lisa-Marie et de leur famille pour leur soutien au cours de sa carrière. Toutefois, il est temps pour la prochaine aventure que la vie a de mieux à offrir.
Au moment de la retraite, Chuck et mariée avec leur chien Toby passera à Dunville, NL et une liste de tâches vous attend. Il est impatient de certains bien mérité du temps de qualité avec promise. Leurs plans comprend les voyages et préventive de ses petits-enfants.
L’Adjum Turcotte aimerait remercier tous ses collègues, passés et présents, de leur incidence à une carrière extraordinaire.
