MAJOR JERRICA CULL, CD, LOG-AIR
1. After more than 17 years of proud and loyal service to Canada,
Major Jerrica Cull will retire from the Canadian Armed Forces on 1 August
2023.
2. Major Jerrica Cull was born and raised in Englee, a remote fishing
village located on the northern peninsula of Newfoundland. She joined the
Royal Canadian Air Force as a Logistics Officer in 2006, graduating from
the Royal Military College of Canada with a degree in Psychology in 2011.
3. After graduation, her first posting was to 14 Wing Greenwood. Spending six years at a
Wing allowed for multiple exposures into various responsibilities as a Junior Logistics Officer.
Maj Cull’s first position was as the 14 Wing Traffic O, followed by a year as the Admin O and
then on to the Transportation Officer position where she completed the Movements Officer
course. In 2015 when 14 Wing was on High Readiness, Maj Cull assumed the duties of the
A/WTEME O for 10 months. Upon return of the WTEME O, she transitioned to 14 Wing
Replenishment Squadron and was employed as the Systems Control Officer and the
A/WReplen O. Cull deployed ISO of Ex MAPLE RESOLVE as both the Component Command
Movements Officer and the Air Task Force A4 in 2016.
4. In late 2016, she deployed to Kuwait on Op IMPACT as the Mobile Support Element
Operations officer and was double hatted as the Air Task Force Liaison Officer for six months.
Upon return to Canada, she was posted to the Canadian Forces Movement Control Unit in
Montreal where she was deployed as the Task Force Movements Officer for Op NUNALIVUT,
followed by employment as the DCO and A/CO of 4 CFMCU during Op PRESENCE.
5. She was promoted to current rank after finishing the Air and Space Operations Course in
2019 and was posted to 1 Wing HQ as the A4 Log, supporting tactical aviation for the RCAF. In
2021, she was posted to CFJOSG HQ as the HQ CO where she will retire.
6. Maj Cull is an active member of the Defence Women’s Advisory Organization at CFB
Kingston and enjoys spending time in or on the water with her family. An avid scuba diver,
sailor, and Newfoundlander, she ensures the water is never too far.
7. After over 17 years of being away, Jerrica, her husband Daniel and their son Logan, will
be finally going back home to retire in Newfoundland surrounded by friends and family.

1. Après plus de 17 ans de fiers et loyaux services au Canada, la major Jerrica Cull prendra sa retraite des Forces armées canadiennes le 1er Aout 2023. 2. La major Jerrica Cull est née et a grandie à Englee, un village de pêcheurs isolé dans la péninsule nord de Terre-Neuve. Elle s’est jointe à l’aviation royale du Canada a titre d’officier de logistique en 2006, obtenant un diplôme en psychologie du Collège Militaire Royale du Canada en 2011. 3. Après l’obtention de son diplôme, sa première affectation fut à la 14e Escadre à Greenwood. Elle a complété six années dans une escadre, ce qui lui a permis d’être exposer a plusieurs postes avec diverses responsabilités en tant qu’officier de logistique junior. La maj Cull a d’abord occupé le poste d’officier de trafique au sein de la 14e Escadre, suivi d’une année à titre d’officier d’administration, puis au poste d’officier de transport ou elle a complétée le cours d’officier en mouvement. En 2015, alors que la 14e Escadre était à haut niveau de préparation pour un déploiement, la maj Cull a assumée les fonctions d’officier commandant intérimaire de l’escadron de transport et génie électrique et mécanique pendant 10 mois. A retour de sa gestionnaire, elle fut transférée au 14e escadron de ravitaillement et a été employée comme officier de contrôle des systèmes et d’officier de ravitaillement de l’Escadre intérimaire. La maj Cull a été déployée sur l’exercice MAPLE RESOLVE à titre d’officier de mouvement de commandement des composantes et de la Force Opérationnelle aérienne A4 en 2016. 4. A la fin de 2016, elle fut déployée au Koweït dans le cadre de l’op IMPACT en tant qu’officier des opérations des éléments de soutien mobile et a été l’officier de liaison de la Force opérationnelle aérienne pendant six mois. A son retour au Canada, elle a été affectée à l’Unité de contrôle des mouvements des Forces canadiennes à Montréal, où elle a été déployée en tant qu’officier des mouvements de la Force opérationnelle pour l’opération NUNALIVUT, suivie d’un poste Commandant adjoint et l’officier commandant intérimaire de l’unité de 4 UCMFC pendant l’opération PRESENCE. 5. Elle a été promue au rang actuel après avoir terminé le cours d’opération aériennes et spatiales et 2019 et a été affectée au QG de la 1ère Escadre à titre d’A4 Logistique, soutenant l’aviation tactique pour l’ARC. En 2021, elle a été affectée au quartier général du Groupe de soutien opérationnel interarmées des forces canadiennes en tant que commandant du QG ou elle prendra sa retraite. 6. Elle est un membre actif de l’Organisation consultative des femmes de la Défense a la BFC Kingston et aime passer du temps dans ou sur l’eau avec sa famille. Passionnée de plongée sous-marine, de marin et de Terre-Neuve, elle s’assure que l’eau n’est jamais trop loin. 7. Après plus de 17 ans d’absence, Jerrica, son mari Daniel et leur fils Logan vont enfin retourner a Terre-Neuve pour prendre leur retraite entoures d’amis et de famille. 8. Le départ en dignité pour maj Cull aura lieu jeudi le 8 juin 2023 au mess de l’état-major supérieur de la BFC Kingston, l’heure a déterminer.
