LCDR Rohe, 00328, Log (Sea)
Peter Rohe has decided to start the next chapter after 35 years of service to the CAF as a Sea Logistics Officer and former RMS Clerk and Pers Admin Officer. Peter joined the CAF in 1983 in Kitchener, ON and now reflects on a career full of highlights and opportunities. He spent his formative years onboard HMCS Mackenzie and HMCS Yukon on the West Coast, followed by a wonderful tour in Lahr, Germany. He also had very memorable tours at CFB North Bay, CFB Greenwood, CFB Winnipeg, MARLANT Halifax and most recently CEFCOM HQ, Navy Staff and CJOC HQ in Ottawa. He also had amazing deployments to Dubai; Golan Heights; and Jerusalem. Additionally, with CAF assistance, Peter had the opportunity to complete both his BMASC and MPA degrees.
As the department still has some faith in him after all these years, he will now commence a Public Service career as ATIP Analyst at CANSOFCOM HQ, Ottawa. He and his bride Joanne plan to enjoy their new home in Stittsville, ON while taking opportunities to feed the travel bug. They also proudly watch their children Samantha and Jeremy who are both completing their studies at Ottawa U and are beginning their own journeys.

Peter Rohe a décidé de commencer un nouveau chapitre de sa vie après 35 ans de service dans les FAC en tant qu’officier de la logistique maritime. Il a occupé les fonctions de greffier du RMS et administrateur du personnel. Peter s’est joint aux FAC en 1983 à Kitchener, en Ontario, et se penche maintenant sur une carrière qu’il espère riche en points saillants et en opportunités. Il a passé ses années de formation à bord du NCSM Mackenzie et du NCSM Yukon sur la côte ouest, puis a effectué une magnifique tournée à Lahr, en Allemagne. Il a également fait des visites mémorables à la BFC North Bay, à la BFC Greenwood, à la BFC Winnipeg, au MARLANT Halifax et, plus récemment, au QG du COMFEC, à l’État-major de la Marine et au QG du COIC à Ottawa. Il a également eu des déploiements incroyables à Dubaï; dans les hauteurs du Golan; et Jérusalem. De plus, avec l’aide des FAC, Peter a eu la possibilité de terminer ses diplômes BMASC et MPA.
Comme le ministère a toujours confiance en lui après toutes ces années, il va maintenant commencer une carrière à la fonction publique en tant qu’analyste de l’AIPRP au siège social du COMFOSCAN à Ottawa. Son épouse Joanne et lui comptent profiter de leur nouvelle maison à Stittsville, en Ontario. Aussi, à l’occasion acquérir le virus du voyage. Ils observent également fièrement leurs enfants Samantha et Jeremy, qui terminent tous deux leurs études à l’Université d’Ottawa et commencent leur propre voyage.
