Cpl Reginald Junior Blanchard, MSE Op 00171
Cpl Reginald Junior Blanchard will retire on 15 February, 2022 after 5+ years of loyal and dedicated service to the Canadian Armed Forces.
Born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and raised in Parsons Pond, Newfoundland and enrolled in the Canadian Armed Forces in Corner Brook, Newfoundland 27 October 2016 as an MSE OP. He completed BMQ on 03 March 2017 at CFB St-Jean, Quebec and proceeded to CFB Borden where he waited for his QL3. Avr Blanchard went to CFB Edmonton to complete his QL3 trades training at 3rd Canadian Division Training Centre Detachment, Edmonton.
Avr Blanchard’s first posting was 2 Service Battalion in Petawawa, Ontario in December of 2017. During his 4 years at CFB Petawawa, he was employed in Transportation Company, Bravo Platoon, Transportation Company, Charlie Platoon, Field Refueling, and Supply Company, MCO Platoon, Aviation Refueling Section where he supported 450 and 427 Squadron. He completed various details which includes, bus tasking’s, Refueling in a field environment and refueling aircrafts. He was also deployed on Op Lentus in 2019 and supported units with fuel at various locations in and around the Ottawa area.

After his release, Cpl Blanchard and his family will relocate to Newfoundland where he will attend College Of The North Atlantic in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. He will be studying Fish and wildlife Technician to Become a Fish and Game Warden in the Province of Newfoundland.

Né à Corner Brook, Nouvelle-Écosse et a grandi a Parsons Pond, Nouvelle-Écosse et c’est enrollé dans les Forces Armées Canadienne in Corner Brook, Nouvelle-Écosse le 27 octobre 2016 comme Op MMS. Il a complété sont QMB le 03 mars 2017 a BFC St-Jean, Québec. Il a est ensuite allé a BFC Borden en attente de son QL3. Avr Blanchard a complété sont QL3 au Centre d’instruction de la 3e Division du Canada a BFC Edmonton.
Le premier posting d’Avr Blanchard fut au 2e bataillon des services de BFC Petawawa, Ontario en décembre 2017. Durant c’est 4 années a BFC Petawawa, il a été employé a la Compagnie de Transport aux pelotons Bravo et Charlie ou il a participé à plusieurs exercice et ravitaillement de champs. Il a aussi fait partie de la Compagnie d’Approvisionnement peloton MCO ou il a été employé comme ravitailleur d’aéronefs ou il a supporté les escadrons 427 et 450. Il a complété plusieurs détails incluant, autobus, ravitaillement de champ et d’aéronefs. Il a aussi déployé sur Op Lentus en 2019 ou il a supporté plusieurs unités à différente location dans la région d’Ottawa.

Après sa retraite, Cpl Blanchard et sa famille vont retourner en Nouvelle-Écosse ou il va aller au College Of The North Atlantic a Corner Brook, Nouvelle-Écosse. Il va étudier pour devenir un agent de la faune pour la province de la Nouvelle-Écosse.
