Cpl Ondrej Ivanic SUP TECH 000168

  1. Cpl Ondrej Ivanic will retire 16 May 2019 after 20 plus yrs of loyal and dedicated service to the CAF, having worked in all three elements Land, Air and Sea.
  2. Cpl Ondrej Ivanic joined the CAF in April 1997 where he enrolled as a Supply Technician, he completed all his training and was posted to Borden to start his new career. Cpl Ivanic has served on a variety of CAF Bases and worked as a supply tech for many different units across Canada. He has served in 2 tours throughout his career Kabul, Afghanistan in in 2002 and Kandahar, Afghanistan in 2008. He has received many honours and awards throughout his career recognising his dedication and hard work to achieving mission success and his commitment to the CAF.
  3. Ondrej has chosen to take this time and focus on his health and spend this much deserved time with his wife Yolaine. He wishes to give huge Thanks to his loving wife Yolaine for all her support and dedication she has provided throughout his career as well as all the great people he has encountered during his time in uniform and looks forward to the next chapter of his life.   1. Le Cpl Ondrej Ivanic prendra sa retraite le 16 mai 2019, après plus de 20 ans de bons et loyaux services aux FAC, pendant lesquels il a travaillé au sein des trois éléments (terre, air et mer).
  2. Le Cpl Ondrej Ivanic s’est enrôlé dans les FAC en avril 1997 comme technicien en approvisionnement. Après avoir réussi son instruction il a été affecté à Borden pour entreprendre sa nouvelle carrière. Le Cpl Ivanic a servi dans diverses bases des FAC et travaillé comme tech appro pour de nombreuses unités dans l’ensemble du Canada. Il a participé à deux périodes de service à l’étranger, soit Kaboul, en Afghanistan, en 2002, et Kandahar, en Afghanistan, en 2008. Il a reçu de nombreuses récompenses et de nombreux prix au cours de sa carrière, en reconnaissance de son dévouement et de son travail acharné pour assurer la réussite de la mission et de son engagement à l’égard des FAC.
  3. Ondrej a choisi de prendre le temps qui lui reste pour s’occuper de sa santé et passer du temps bien mérité avec son épouse Yolaine. Il souhaite remercier de tout coeur son extraordinaire femme, Yolaine, pour tout son soutien et le dévouement dont elle a fait preuve pendant la carrière de son mari. Un gros merci également à toutes les personnes formidables qu’il a rencontrées pendant sa carrière militaire. Ondrej a bien hâte de passer au prochain chapitre de sa vie.
