Cpl Charron – 00375 – HRA / ARH
1. Cpl Charron was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario on the 10 March 1967. He has two sons the oldest Austin is 20 and the youngest is Adam who is 14 years old. His mother and older sister live in Windsor Ontario.
2. Cpl Charron joined the CAF March 1999 as a weapons tech, he spent 6 months in CAF and release in September 1999 due to a medical emergency with his oldest son.
3. Cpl Charron rejoined the CAF in August 2002 as an AVS tech. While in Kingston on his POET course he injured his shoulder and due to his injury he was returned to Borden. While he waited for surgery he worked at CFRG HQ as a clerk. He decided to VOT to RMS clerk rather than complete another year and a half of training for AVS.
4. In 2003 he was sent from CFSATE to Halifax for the Tattoo show and stayed in Shearwater for three weeks.
5. His VOT was approved in 2006 and he attended and completed his CFSAL RMS QL3 course. His first posting was to the Base Orderly Room in Borden from 24 November 2006 to 30 July 2007. He was posted to CFRG HQ 30 July 2007 to 9 July 2010. He was asked to go to CFRC Det Fredericton to teach them how to use the PAERS/PERMIS system in 2008. He completed his QL5 training in Mar 2009.
6. Cpl Charron was posted to 14 Wing Greenwood to the WPSO in July 2010. He stayed there for a year. During this timeframe he was in charge of admin as well as updating the WPSO web page. In 2011 he was posted to the WHQ OR and was in charge of completing all admin for any BTL or ULO students posted to the Wing as well being the IT rep for the building.
7. He was posted to 14 MSS CE in 2015 in the OPS section. Cpl Charron provided vital support to the RP Ops Det Greenwood Operations section while also providing support to 14 MSS CE.
8. Cpl Charron will retire from the CAF on the 18th May 2018. A luncheon will held on the 17th May 2018 from 1200-1400hrs at the Oak and Barrel Greenwood, Nova Scotia. Stories and anecdotes can be sent to morgan.macdonald@forces.gc.ca .

2. Cpl Charron a rejoint les FAC en mars 1999 comme technicien d’armes, après 6 mois il a dû quitter les FAC, en septembre 1999, en raison d’une urgence médical avec son plus vieux fils.
3. Cpl Charron a rejoint les FAC en août 2002 comme AVIO technicien. Durant son cour de formation en électronique axée sur le rendement à Kingston, il a s’est blessé à l’épaule. En raison de sa blessure, il a été retourne à Borden. En attente pour une chirurgie, il a travaillé à GRFC QG comme un commis. Il s’est décidé à RECL V pour devenir un commis SGR plutôt que de complet une autre année et demie de formation pour AVIO.
4. En 2003 il a été envoyé du ETGAFC pour Halifax, pour le spectacle Tattoo et est resté à Shearwater pendant trois semaines.
5. Son RECL V a été approuvé en 2006. Il a assisté et a complété son cour de EALFC SGR NQ3. Sa première assignation a été à la salle des rapports de la Base de Borden, du 24 novembre 2006 au 30 juillet 2007. Il a été assigné à GRFC QG du 30 juillet 2007 au 9 juillet 2010. On lui a demandé d’aller à CRFC détachement Fredericton pour enseigner comment utiliser le système PAERS/PERMIS en 2008. Il a complété son cours NQ5 en mars 2009.
6. Cpl Charron a été assigné aux 14 escadres à Greenwood à l’OPS en juillet 2010. Il y est resté pour une année. Pendant cette période il était responsable de l’administration et de la mise à jour de la page internet de l’OPS. En 2011, il a été assigné à la salle des rapports du QG de l’escadre, il était responsable de l’administration concernent la List d’entrainement de base et des étudiants officier en liaison universitaire de escadre et il était le représentant IT du bâtiment.
7. Il a été assigné à la 14 ESM GC en 2015 dans la section du PSO. Cpl Charron a fourni une assistance vitale au département du PR Ops à Greenwood et aussi a fournissant de l’assistance au 14 ESM GC.
8. Cpl Charron se retirera des FAC le 18 mai 2018. Un déjeuner sera tenu le 17 mai 2018 de 1200 à 1400hrs à l’Oak and Barrel Greenwood, Nouvelle-Écosse. Les histoires et des anecdotes peuvent être envoyées à morgan.macdonald@forces.gc.ca
