The Naval Association of Canada – Ottawa Branch has just published the 11th Volume of the always popular Salty Dips. Sub-titled: Some things pass. Some things change. Some just stay the same, it contains 17 ‘dips’ covering changes in the navy over 50 years that expand on that sub-title theme. Of special interest to logisticians is the ‘dip’ covering the experiences of Louise Fish, the first female sea log officer to serve at sea on HMCS Cormorant.
