CPL KEVIN GOREHAM, 00168 SUP TECH

1. After 15 years of loyal and dedicated service, Cpl Kevin Goreham will be retiring from the CAF on 30 November 2017.
2. Cpl Kevin Goreham began his career in August 2002, completing his basic training in Quebec and heading to CFB Borden to await training in the fall of 2002. Once fully trained as an Sup Tech he had the honor of his first posting to Her Majesty’s Canadian Ship – ATHABASKAN. During his time to the East Coast Cpl Goreham was posted to HMCS TORONTO, HMCS PRESERVER, AND HMCS VILLE DE QUEBEC. While residing in Halifax, he was posted to Fleet Maintenance Facility. In the summer of 2007 he was posted to 2 GS Bn then onto 2 Svc Bn two summers later in 2009. After completing his work up training for deployment, was deployed to Afghanistan in 2010 with the NSE. During his deployment to Kandahar he was with Supply and Transport Company.
3. In his short time of being an Sup Tech he notes he has met some amazing people in his time, and making a lot of friends.
4. He will be leaving 2 RCHA on 30 November 2017 and remaining in the Pembroke area.
5. There will be an informal Depart with Dignity being held at East Side Mario’s in Pembroke on November 24, 2017 at 1200H. Those who wish t o join us are asked to RSVP to Sgt Josée Veronneau by email NLT 17 Nov 17.

1. Après 15 années de loyaux services dévoués, le Cpl Kevin Goreham prendra sa retraite des FAC le 30 novembre 2017.

2. Cpl Kevin Goreham a débuté sa carrière en août 2002, terminant sa formation de base au Québec et se rendant à la BFC Borde n pour y suivre une formation à l’automne 2002. Une fois qu’il a terminé sa formation de Sup Tech, il a eu l’honneur d’être affecté à Sa Majesté. Navire canadien – ATHABASKAN. Pendant son séjour sur la côte est, le Cpl Goreham a été affecté au NCSM TORONTO , au NCSM PRESERVER et au NCSM VILLE DE QUÉBEC. Pendant son séjour à Halifax, il a été affecté à l’installation de maintenance de la flotte. À l’été 2007, il a été affecté à 2 GS Bn puis à 2 Svc Bn deux étés plus tard en 2009. Après avoir terminé son entra înement de déploiement, il a été déployé en Afghanistan en 2010 avec le NSE. Pendant son déploiement à Kandahar, il travaillait pour la compagnie d’approvisionnement et de transport.

3. Au cours de sa brève expérience en tant que Sup Tech, il note qu’il a rencontré des gens extraordinaires à son époque et qu’il s’est fait beaucoup d’amis.

4. Il quittera le 2 RCHA le 30 novembre 2017 et restera dans la région de Pembroke.

5. Il y aura un Départ informel avec Dignité qui se tiendra à East Side Mario’s à Pembr oke le 24 novembre 2017 à 12h00. Ceux qui désirent se joindre à nous sont invités à confirmer leur présence au sergent Josée Veronneau par courriel, le 17 novembre.
