RCLSA receives RCLS Commendation for work in support of the 50th Anniversary and the rebranding of RCLS
The RCLS Commendation Presented To RCLSA
During the year leading up to, and throughout the Logistics Branch 50th Anniversary celebrations, the Royal Canadian Logistics Service Association was instrumental to the outreach program. Through its extended network of supporters, influencers and Honorary Colonels – and in honouring the service of thousands of retired Logisticians across Canada, the support provided by the national executive committee and the various local chapters played a critical role in the overall success of the activities. For their contributions, RCLSA and its members are awarded the Royal Canadian Logistics Service Commendation.
On Tuesday 10 Nov 20 at NDHQ Carling, a small ceremony was held to by the new RCLS Adviser, Capt(N) Francis Turcotte and RCLS CWO Pat Dufour, to recognize RCLSA and to present the RCLS Commendation for support to the 50th Anniversary of the Logistics Branch and rebranding as Royal Canadian Logistics Service. Accepting, on behalf of RCLSA is the National President, John Page accompanied by his wife, Maryanna Hemming.
Le mardi 10 novembre à QGDN Carling, une petite cérémonie a été organisée par le nouveau conseiller du RCLS, le Capt(N) Francis Turcotte et l’adjuc Pat Dufour adjuc de la SLRC, afin de reconnaître l’ALFC et de présenter la Mention élogieuse de la SLRC pour son appui au 50e anniversaire de la Direction de la logistique et au changement de nom de la Service logistique royal Canadienne. Le président national, John Page, est accompagné de son épouse, Maryanna Hemming, au nom de l’ACFC.
