It is with broken hearts and profound sadness that the family of the late Jason Uriah Whalen, of Pembroke ON, formerly of Canaan NS announce his unexpected passing on Friday, November 24, 2023 at the age of 45 years.
Jason was a dedicated former member of the Canadian Armed Forces, ranking as Master Warrant Officer upon discharge. He served three tours of duty for our county.
He is survived by his wife, Alisha (Walker), Pembroke, ON; children, Mac Muirhead, Port Williams and Hannah and Lucas Whalen, Kingston;
Respecting Jason’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held in Petawawa in the new year. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the White Family Funeral Home in Kentville NS. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Canadian Mental Health are appreciated.
