TARRANT, Benjamin John (Ben), CPO2 (Ret’d), CD, Sup Tech
It is with great sadness and profound heartbreak that we the Tarrant Family have to announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother, uncle, cousin, Benjamin John Tarrant in his 70th year on 23 November 2022. He was predeceased by his loving wife Heather Catherine Tarrant (nee Snow).
Ben or Benny as he is known to many, was a veteran of the Canadian Naval Forces, having served 35 years, retiring as CPO2. He also served an additional few years as a civilian Supply Coordinator with DND.
Ben loved playing darts; he enjoyed the game with friends and family. He was a loyal member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 162. He was an avid reader; he especially loved Clive Cussler. Ben also enjoyed golfing and playing the squeezebox, particularly “Newfie” music. He adored his fur baby companion, Chips, the beloved dog he inherited from his dear mother-in-law Irene Snow (also predeceased). Chips will miss his “Hooman” forever.
