SHEPPARD, Alexander John (AJ), CWO (Ret’d), MB, CD, RCASC, RCLS

SheppardIt is with regret that we inform you of the passing of Alexander “John” Sheppard MB, CD. 23 October 2021.  John battled cancer the past year and passed away 23 October 2021 with the love of his life, Jenny, and his beloved daughter Lisa at his side in his 76th year.  John is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Jenny; daughter Lisa; son in law Jeff; granddaughter Kylea; and grandson Tyler.

Sadly, missed by his canine companions Sammy and Bijou, John will always be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

CWO Sheppard completed 25 years of service combined with the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps and the Logistics Branch as a Mobile Support Equipment Operator.  John retired from the Canadian Forces while serving in CFB Borden in 1990.

At John’s and the family’s request, cremation has taken place.  Friends may visit with the family at the Steven R. Bridge Funeral Home, 207 Mill Street Angus, on Thursday, November 4th 2021 from 7:00-9:00pm.
Funeral will take place in the chapel on Friday, November 5th 2021 at 2:00pm.

In accordance with directives put in place by provincial governing bodies
and the Public Health Unit, everyone must produce a valid double vaccination certificate and one (1) piece of identification to be permitted in the funeral home.
Please note that wearing a facial covering is mandatory due to the circumstances from Covid-19.
