William (Bill) Parker, age 81 died suddenly at home, Tuesday, December 29, 2015. He leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years, Joan (nee Douglas/Jones); his son Ken and his granddaughter Jennifer. Born and raised in Ottawa, he leaves behind many nieces and nephews in Ottawa and Halifax. Bill served 30 years in the Canadian Armed Forces and was a proud member of the RCDC. His postings include Korea, Metz (France), CFB Borden, St. Hubert and Ottawa. Bill had a passion for many sports and was a longtime member of ODHA/ODMHA. Farewell to Bill from the folks at Beck’s Shore, all his friends and family. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 2-5 p.m. at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario.
