MITCHELL, Wayne, (Ret’d), MSE OP

Wayne, age 68, passed away peacefully on 15 April 2017 at the Abbotsford Regional Cancer Centre after a year-long battle with cancer.  He is mourned by his wife Edith; children Tanya (Norm) and Todd (Shari) and grandchildren Jenna and Hunter.

Wayne joined the military in 1969 and retired at CFB Chilliwack in 1991.  At his passing he was owner of Wayne’s Fast Auto Delivery Service.

Donations in Wayne’s name can be made to either the Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association.

Another brother has joined the advance party.  Wayne Mitchell passed today with family around him in Chilliwack.  He was a Great MSE Op and friend to all who crossed paths with him.  RIP My friend your watch is done, I stand in your place.
