MARTIN, Kenneth Alfred, MWO, Ret’d, RCASC

Kenneth Alfred MartinKen passed away peacefully September 27th with his loving family by his side at the Rosamond Wing, Almonte General Hospital in his 80th year.  Beloved husband of Lorraine (nee Omilon) for 59 years. Loving father of Douglas (Alexandra), Michael (Cheryl), and Steven (Shannon).  Proud “Gramps” to Lacey (Colin), Mary-Veronica (Taras), Lauryn, John and Julia.  Cherished great-grandfather to Lucas and Nina, and many extended family members and friends.   

Ken joined the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps as an apprentice soldier in 1954 and continued on as an original member of the Canadian Forces Logistics Service that formed in 1968.  He proudly served our country and retired in 1986 after a distinguished career of 32 years. 

A donation to the Alzheimer’s Society of Lanark Leeds & Grenville, 42 Garden Street, Brockville, ON, or Holy Name of Mary Parish, Almonte, ON, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
