MALONE, Gerald “Bugzy” Richard, MSE Op (Ret’d)
Bugzy, age 60, of Surf Lodge Nursing Home, Lockeport, formerly of Bible Hill, Truro, passed away in Roseway Hospital on December 21, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Alfreda; and special daughter, Prattana Tatannon;
In 1977 Jerry joined the Canadian Armed Forces and served aboard HMCS Margaree as a Steward. Two Years later he remustered to MSE Op and subsequently served at CFB Gagetown, N.B, CFB Baden-Soellingen, Germany, CFS Penhold, Alberta, before retiring from CFS Debert in 1997.
Following his retirement, he opened Bugzy Malone Driving School. This enabled him to have many hours of enjoyment teaching young and old the driving rules and regulations and the proper techniques. He will be sadly missed for his kind and generous heart.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Friday, December 29 from 7-9 pm in H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Lockeport. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 30 at 2 pm in the United Church, Lockeport with Rev. Kevin Cox officiating. Family flowers only.
