COOK, Robert Delaney, Sgt (Ret’d), RCASC

COOK, Robert DelaneyBob “Cookie”, age 77, passed away 29 December, 2018.  Beloved husband and soul mate of Ann, dear stepfather to Terry (Maryanne), Kevin (Susan), and Darlene (Detlev), Cherished Grandfather to Derek, Jennifer, Ashley, Kevin, Candice, and Jesse and great- grandfather to Lexi, Emma and Braxton.

Bob “Cookie” had many friends in the military, joining the RCASC in 1959, spending time in Germany, Gagetown, London, Cyprus, Vietnam, Queen Charlotte Islands and Ottawa.

Following his military retirement in 1995, he worked as a Commissionaire and a school bus driver.  Through it all Bob volunteered at the Perley Vet’s (50 years), Beaver Barracks Sgts Mess (Life Member), and Branch 480 Legion (Life Member).

If desired, memorial donations to Branch 480 Legion, Perley Vet’s Hospital or the Heart Institute would be appreciated.  A Celebration of Life will be held in Spring, details to follow.
