BUTLER, Bruce Frances, MWO (Ret’d), Sup Tech

ButlerBruce passed away peacefully at Ottawa, on Friday, July 3, 2020 at the age of 85 years.  He will be sorely missed by his loving wife of 63 years, Marilyn D. Butler (nee Smith).  Dear father of Dan (Leah), Jim (Beccy), and Pam Dillon, all of whom he loved dearly.  He took great pleasure in his grandchildren James, Jodi, Ella, and Finn.

A long-time veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force, his service included a posting at Air Command Headquarters in the early eighties.

Bruce was an avid fisherman with a great sense of humour. He loved the outdoors, especially Algonquin Park and was a local history buff.
