It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Deborah Lynn Skinner on January 9th, 2024, at the age of 71 years. Survived by her husband Carl, daughter Michelle, grandchildren Kapreece, Myshala, Hananiah, Guyon, Mezziah, Noah and her brother Micheal and his wife Velma.
Deborah was born in New Liskeard, Ontario but spent most of her young life in Kirkland Lake, Ontario. Deborah joined the Canadian Military in 1972 and served our Country for 38 years. She had various postings across Canada including Winnipeg, Wainwright, Calgary, Borden, Halifax and Moose Jaw, before retiring in Frankford, Ontario. She was passionate about her work, and enjoyed the time she spent in the military until she retired in 2013.
Deborah loved reading, camping and spending time with her family. Deborah was always ready to give a helping hand to anyone in need, she had a heart of gold that will live forever within the people that got the privilege to have her in their life.
