Len passed away on 17 May, 2017 at the St. Louis Residence in Orleans, at the age of 85.
Left to mourn his passing is his beloved wife of 60 years, Helen, children Scott(Sandra), Todd(Jennifer), Paul(Erin) and grandchildren Jonny, Brenna, and Liam. Len was pre-deceased by his daughter, Diana.
Born in Montreal, he traveled the country as soon as he was able to and joined the Canadian Armed Forces at the age of 18. He was first posted to London, Ontario where he met Helen. The military took him and his family to Edmonton, West Germany, Victoria and Ottawa. He also did tours with the UN to Egypt, and the Golan Heights in Israel. He retired as a MWO in the Army and then served as a Captain with the Cadet Corps. Len was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Fidelity #231.
Len loved traveling with his family, reading, current events, military history, ancestry and coffee! His time spent with friends and family at the local coffee shops will be fondly remembered!
