WARFORD, John William, SGT (Ret’d), CD, MSE Op, RCASC, RCLS
With heavy hearts, the family of John Warford, age 82, announces his passing, which occurred at Ridgewood Veterans Wing on Wednesday, December 21st, 2022.
Along with his wife Doreen, John is survived by his daughter Colleen Beaton (Bruce) of California and grandchildren Riley Buchanan (Pamela) and Brady Beaton.
John was a proud veteran who served for 21 years in the Royal Canadian Army Service Corps, including a 9-year stint in Germany.
Following his service, he worked for Transport Canada as the manager of airports across the Maritimes and Newfoundland.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424). In keeping with John’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. For those who wish, remembrances to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
