We are saddened to announce that Garnet, age 85. passed away peacefully on July 19, 2023 with his children by his side.
Garnet was predeceased by his loving wife Betty. He is survived by his children Mary (Terry), Steven (Manon), Patricia Pharand (Denis), Pamela Boudreau, Scott (Sue). Popeye to Sarah (Omar), Sean (Stephanie), Mackenzie (Chris), Christopher (Melanie), Melanie, Amanda, Elissa, Nicole, Bradley (Catherine), Ryan, Robert (Kelsey), Shane (Sarah). Great grand father to Riley, Tamara, Amira, Jonathan, Melodie, Liam, Eddie, Adam, Nova, Wyatt, Logan, Jacob, Colin, Maxime, Noemie, Charlie, Rainey, Wren and Octavia.
His military service included 1 Tpt Coy/4 S&T Coy and at CFB Ottawa N (Rockliffe)
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday July 27th at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Ave., Ottawa, ON) from 9 to 10am, followed by a memorial service.
