MCDOUGALL, Alexander (Alex) Forrest, WO (Ret’d), CD, RCASC
Alex passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the age of 94. Survived by his wife of 73 years, Eva; children Bill (Andrea), Heather (Danny), Sue, and Dave (Penny); and grandchildren Kristin, Julie, Stephanie (David), Cameron (Pamela), Carolyn, Michael, and Holly.
Alex enrolled in the Canadian Army on 12 February 1945. He served as a Transportation Controller until his retirement on 7 August 1976. After retirement he had a career with the City of Ottawa.
As per Alex’s wishes, his body has been donated to the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Anatomy. If so wished, donations can be made to the Ottawa Heart Institute.
